Online Birth Control Program for Current Participants Through the Health Center

Online birth control purchases can be made at your convenience through this site (up to seven packs at a time), and then you MUST pick up your birth control purchase during the pill pickup days posted on the Student Health Center’s website on the Pill Pickup Days page.  (The Health Center can only dispense birth control when the physician is on the premises).

Click here to purchase birth control online now if you already have a prescription through the Student Health Center.

All orders must be placed at least 48 hours before the posted pill pickup day you plan to pick up birth control.  Any purchases made after the 48-hour window are not guaranteed to be ready for pickup that week.

Birth control purchases are only accepted online.  The birth control program at the Student Health Center has grown exponentially, and moving the program online is the only way the Student Health Center can continue selling birth control.  If you do not make your purchase online following the above guidelines, and are going to run out of pills before the next pill pickup day, you may come to the Student Health Center at your convenience and request a written prescription for one pack of birth control which you may then fill at a local pharmacy.

When you make your purchase online, you will not have to wait through the regular line at the front desk.  You will pay for your birth control online by credit card, by charging to your Truman Student Account, or by debiting your checking account.  When you arrive at the Student Health Center, you will be directed to a separate area designated for online purchased supplies.  If a staff member is not available to dispense birth control from this separate area, you will pick up your purchase at the front desk.  Since birth control transactions are all online, students have not found wait-times to be long even when purchases are dispensed at the front desk.  You will show the staff member your student ID (you must show a photo ID to pick up your pills), be handed your purchase, and sign your name.  A friend may pick up your birth control for you if they have a signed note from you when they request to pick up your purchase.

If you would like to review the participant requirements for the birth control program at the Health Center, please refer to the Birth Control Program page for more information.  We hope you enjoy the convenience of the new online birth control program.
