In order to more fully protect the health and well being of its students, Truman State University requires the following:
- All students born on or after January 1, of 1957 must have two doses of MMR vaccine in order to demonstrate adequate immunity. Students must provide the Student Health Center with official verification of immunization. Serological titers will be required for students requesting permanent medical or religious waivers of the immunization requirements.
- Any student in on-campus housing must receive a meningococcal vaccine or booster on or after age 16 or provide documentation of a medical or religious exemption per the meningococcal vaccine waiver.
- Failure to provide verification of the required immunizations will result in a block on the next semesters’ registration.
- You will need to complete a Health History form. A copy of this will be mailed to new students.
